๐ข Key Objective
-To provide people coordination and support for the people business partner at Busan Sealife. This role will be responsible for coordinating a wide variety of people management including Joiner/Mover/Leavers, Recruitment, Time & Attendance, Benefits Program, Employee Relations and Learning & Development. Closely Co-working with people functions leaders and delivering awesome employee experience by site-expertise are key success factors.
๐ข Scope and Responsibilities
Delivering awesome employee experiences by site-expertise and people coordination tasks including
On-boarding, Joiner/Mover/Leaver
- Provide welcoming experiences for newcomers when onboarding
- Check off new starter paperwork when employees start
- Manage Checklist and documents for joiner, mover, leavers and probation
- Conduct the exit Interviews for leavers
- Maintain the People Database and People filing systems (People Portal, Douzone)
- Issue several kinds of employment certificates when requesting.
Recruitment
- Respond to all speculative CV’s, letters, and applications
- Coordinate with the recruitment processes
- Update Job descriptions with each hiring managers and people business partners
- Organize the interview schedule & process
- Manage the co-work agreement with colleges for sourcing the local talent
- Collaborate with people function leader – Talent acquisition
Time & Attendance
- Record monthly annual leaves updated
- Track employees’ work hours and maintain time & attendance sheets
- Track special T&A: absence, leave (Maternity/Parental/Sick)
- Collaborate with people function leader – Compensation & Benefit
Benefits Program
- Promote and manage Merlin Benefit Program: Magic Pass and Enjoy the Ride Pass
- Prepare and conduct monthly STAR activities and update for employee recognition.
- Update the long service awards
- Update and communicate employee welfare programs
Employee Relations
- Deal with general people enquiries actively
- Plan and activate annual employee engagement events
- Prepare and manage labor management council
- Monitor and update the internal communications (Go together App)
- Support to update the Employment rule and the People policy
- Promote and prepare for employee engagement survey (Culture Survey)
- Support the Disciplinary procedures (Reward and corrective action)
- Collaborate with people function leader – Employee Relations
Learning & Development
- Prepare and provide the induction training for newcomers
- Maintain the training materials, training record and the training evaluation
- Schedule the mandatory training (Sexual harassment, Workplace bullying, Disability Discrimination, etc.)
- Plan and prepare for the several collaboration workshop on site
- Collaborate with people function leader – Learning & Development
Support Business Partner
- Develop and apply for government subsidies
- Calculate the labor cost forecast
- Update the employment cost update
- Support the labor cost budget plan
- Manage Payment process for salary, retirement pension, staff tax and social insurance (health, employment, national pension,etc.)
- Support the year-end tax settlement
๐ข Background and Experience:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- BA in human resources, business administration, communications or similar relevant field
- Experience in a theme park, hotel, resort, attraction, or entertainment
- Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
- Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR (including payroll and year-end tax settlement)
- Proficient computers skills in MS Office and HRIS (Douzone)
- English proficiency preferred
- Knowledge of local labor law
๐ข Work Environment:
- Various inside and outside locations with varying temperatures and floor surfaces.
- Exposed to wet and/or humid conditions

- Maintaining honesty and integrity with superior, subordinates and guests
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends to support park operations.
